Hmph. Where do we start? Kierra and I (Hey! Its Tempestt) met in school our semi last semester of college. We chatted over natural hair products while banging some potato wedges at Buffalo Wild Wings. As we parted ways, my first thought was, “Wow, home girl really don’t like Carols Daughter, she must be nuts.” Over the next few months, we got together and talked about school, hair, life after college, and Black shit, while sipping a margarita on the rocks from our local Mexican Restaurant. Fast-forward to a year later, we FaceTime each other every day, mostly to talk about who tried us the most, share our thoughts on activists from books we are reading, eat cake, and bang some good and strong margaritas.
